App Technology

Here is a list of recommended applications and software for either touch screen and mobile technology, or desktop use. Please always refer to the discussion we had in class about interactive use of technology and how to determine those properties before using them in your classroom: please always remember the “1:X” approach : ). They are recommended for intentional use when mobile technology can add learning to the curriculum and not be used as a time filler, or a single focus of a unit or a lesson. The apps with an asterisk represent the ones we demoed in class.
